Text Box:   Hello and Welcome to my website. My name is Steve Turner and I have been laying bricks as a professional Bricklayer for over 23 years. I hold the City & Guilds Craft and Advanced  Bricklaying Certificates. Now I teach Bricklaying skills in Further Education. I am an A1 assessor in Trowel Occupations and have my Certificate in Education. The purpose of this website is to promote my instructional DVD's in basic bricklaying skills and give everyone a chance to 'have a go' . It has been my experience that nearly everyone at some point will show an interest in one of the oldest skills mankind has developed. Whether it's to repair an old wall, do a little pointing, build a barbeque, or the 'shangrila' of developing you property whilst avoiding the large costs of builders. It can not be that hard to do it can it?  Well yes. The skills and practices that you have to develop  to become a professional bricklayer take many years and a huge, HUGE amount of practice.  Laying bricks in a clean efficient manner,  is a true skill and art form in itself.  But everyone to one degree or another should be able to learn the rudimentary skills, and employ them. In my DVDs I will demonstrate these skills and hopefully YOU will be able to apply them . Whatever happens there is a great deal of fun, and sense of  achievement to be had.
