TOOLS

Tools are vital for the completion or application of any job. For a Bricklayer the 2 most important tools are the Trowel and Spirit level. (Without them there is not much hope!)

The Trowel takes some mastering but once achieved is only an extension of the hand, practice makes the application of mortar easier and easier. Rolling mortar and the hand actions used to manipulate the trowel are demonstrated on the instructional DVD in detail.

The Spirit level is also not as easy as it would seem. But with a little practice and patience you can soon be laying bricks level that are upright and to a good standard. A shameless plug I know but this is demonstrated on the DVD to great detail and effect, as with all the tools illustrated above.
